Who We Are
A movement built by the people, for the people — ward by ward, county by county.
Our Story
Linda Mwananchi was not born in a boardroom. It did not emerge from a backroom political deal or a calculated strategy session. It grew from the frustration, the resilience, and the unshakeable belief of ordinary Kenyans that their country deserves better.
From Kawangware to Kisumu, from Mombasa to Marsabit — the people who built this movement are market traders, teachers, boda boda riders, young mothers, and retired civil servants who refused to accept that this is as good as Kenya can get.
We stand as the voice that has too often been silenced: the voice of the ground.
"This movement belongs to every Kenyan who has ever been told their voice does not matter. We are here to prove that it does."— Linda Mwananchi Movement Founding Statement
Leadership
Linda Mwananchi is led by elected representatives who have demonstrated commitment to the people they serve at every level of government.
Senator for Nairobi County and longtime advocate for citizens' rights, Sifuna has been a consistent voice against economic injustice and political impunity.
Member of Parliament for Embakasi East, known for his fierce defense of youth rights, affordable education, and holding government accountable on the floor of Parliament.
Governor of Siaya County and veteran constitutionalist. One of Kenya's most respected legal minds and a lifelong fighter for democratic governance.
Leading the movement's youth engagement and women's mobilization agenda, ensuring that the next generation of Kenyans is at the heart of political transformation.
What We Stand For
Every policy, every decision, every campaign message starts and ends with one question: does this serve the ordinary Kenyan?
We hold government accountable. We will be held accountable. Our accounts, our decisions, our plans — open to the public.
We do not govern from Nairobi offices. Our agenda is built from what we hear in wards, markets, and community meetings across all 47 counties.
Kenya is a young country. Any movement that does not centre youth in its leadership and agenda is governing a Kenya that no longer exists.
We reject ethnic and regional politics. We are Kenyans first. The movement draws strength from every tribe, every county, every faith.
The wealth of this nation must be felt by those who produce it. We fight for fair wages, accessible credit, and an economy that works for the 90%.
Thousands of Kenyans across all 47 counties have already registered. Be counted.
